ERICA HEINZ
Erica Heinz is a full-time yoga teacher, web designer, and road biker. She is a part-time drummer, surfer, and feng shui master. She currently designs for fashion, technology, and human rights clients. She graduated with a BFA in Visual Communications from Wash. U. in St. Louis. Her yoga practice began in 2000, after seven semesters rowing varsity crew. This interest in repeated mental exercise led her to a certification in vinyasa flow yoga. She teaches asanas with a scientific focus on awareness, breathing, bandhas, and alignment. Classes are moderately paced, based on the Atmananda sequence, with Kundalini, Dharma Mittra, and Laughing Lotus variations for flexibility and fun.
