With a strong sports coaching background and a highly committed meditation practice Susan Holland finds yoga to be an amazing union of the body and the spirit where mental and physical rewards can be achieved. Susan has been practicing yoga for seven years with teachers ranging from the Kundalini, Vinyasa, Ashtanga and AcroYoga disciplines. After years of competitive sports Susan began personal training and coaching tri-athletes and swim teams. As her focus shifted from competitive sports to yoga Susan began incorporating asana and pranayama into her fitness training sessions. Susan strives to make her own practice and that of her clients and students a unique embodiment of the mind/body connection found in yoga and the challenge and confidence of athletic training. Susan believes that bringing attention to the breath and having a strong body awareness enhances every aspect of life, whether the goal is within a physical or spiritual practice.
